Welcome to the lab of Daved Fremont!
The Fremont Lab is interested in understanding viral immune evasion techniques using:
- Protein biochemistry
- Biophysics
- Structural biology
Through understanding the mechanisms by which viruses evade host immunity, we can better understand the immune system and how it operates. Furthermore, this understanding can provide a template for better therapeutics and vaccines.

We are located in the CSRB building at the Washington University School of Medicine.
Our lab has members from multiple programs, including BBSB, Immunology, and MMMP.
